Air Force Officer

Tim recently retired from the Air Force as a Captain in the Defense Information Systems Agency. It was there he accomplished topological analysis of DoD data networks and served as an administrator of the directorate engineering staff's network at the Center for Engineering. After coming to DISA, Tim engineered a high performance DISNET design saving DoD over $1M/year. As a network administrator, he evaulated requirements and implemented tools to assist the engineering staff. As an Internet disciple, he has preached the gospel of the Information Highway and developed DISA's first Web server in April, 1994.

Previous to DISA he was assigned in January, 1987 to the Pentagon's 7th Communications Group. There he served as a programmer-analyst planning, implementing and maintaining large networks for the Air Force HQ. In 1991, after supervising for a year sought and was selected for assignment to the Center for Engineering.
