Air Force Cop
Tim had a good career with the Air Force. He enlisted as a
Law Enforcement Specialist in 1975, serving as a patrolman,
entry controller and desk sergeant at Langley AFB, VA
before assignment to Chievres Air Base, Belgium in 1979.
Overseas he provided aircraft security to the
SACEUR (General Alexander Haig & General Bernard Rogers) and was
cited for upgrading security. He was promoted to Technical Sergeant
at the first opportunity and assigned to Vance AFB, OK (1982) where
as a Flight Chief he was selected
for a scholarship program at Virginia Tech.
