Arriving

We arrived at Copenhagen's airport at 9 AM (3 AM our time) and were able to quickly catch the bus to the ferry. At 10 AM we were on our way to Sweden. Dick met us at Malmo and we were at their home by noon. Clouds obscured the eclipse until we got to Bussjo - but it didn't matter as Anders greeted his cousins with a great place to play - inner tubes. Chris, my buddy since high school, accompanied us on this trip for his first European Vacation. He left on the 13th for adventures in Germany and Holland before meeting us back in Copenhagen the day before our return flight.... - August 11th, 1999
